Another Year Has Dawned... and as we continue to forward through a new decade of a new millennium, the time for change is fast upon us and Crimson Elite has again redefined itself.
The Crimson Elite website will be expanded to now serve a duel function in both promotion and public education. You will still be able to find information on your favourite CE Artistes with links to their products, other net spaces and contact information. In addition, the Crimson Elite website will now endeavour to serve as a resource page for dark-romantic and decadent aesthetics based primarily in 17th century (Baroque) and 18th century (Rococo) Europe. Throughout the coming months we'll be including information on various subjects pertaining to these eras from philosophical (particularly the darker, more Satanic aspects), cultural (of the higher classes, of course) and artistic perspectives to more personal and practical information as in: where to find (and or make) historically accurate period garb and where and when is that next historical themed event happening near you.
So please, feel free to meander through our crimson halls and allow yourself to be transported to a time of royal hedonism and debauch. New features include diary entries from Samuel Pepys , George Etheridge's "The Man of Mode " and the infamous Earl of Rochester's "The Quintessence of Debauchery "! Also, there is a new poetry section featuring some of the most erotic works of the past four centuries... with some original works from our resident libertine: Count MoriVond!
So here’s to the ignoble, licentious libertinage of the anachronistic epicurean few. To such heathen pleasures we un-repentantly pledge. A happy post Autumnal Equinox to all!
